Bangkok · Vintage Collector
Brought in a 1960s Longines with a 30L movement that had stopped. The written estimate came through within two days, and work only started after I agreed. Seven weeks later it came back keeping excellent time. The dial was not touched — exactly as I wanted. Clear communication throughout.

Quartz battery service on my Seiko. Quick, tidy, and the gasket was replaced without me asking. The price was what they quoted. Only reason for four stars rather than five is that I had to follow up once — they were busy that week. Worth it overall.

Chiang Mai (expat) · Chronograph owner
My Heuer Autavia (Valjoux 72) needed a full overhaul — the chronograph return-to-zero was sluggish and the timekeeping was off significantly. The condition report they sent with the watch was thorough. Timing results, parts replaced, everything documented. Eight weeks, but worth every day.

Lampang · Collector
Sent a 1950s Omega Seamaster by post from Lampang. The team confirmed receipt the next day and gave me a preliminary view before I even agreed to the full estimate. The case was not over-polished — it still has its original brushed finish on the lugs. Very few shops understand that this matters.

Battery and gasket service on a Casio I wear for work. Practical, fast, and no upselling. They found the right battery for an odd-sized cell I couldn't track down elsewhere in Chiang Mai. Back and running within three days.

Sent a Lemania 1873-based piece by courier from Phuket. The team was honest about the parts situation — one component took extra time to source. They updated me rather than letting me sit wondering. The chronograph came back running correctly across all functions. I'll use them again.

Pieces We Have Worked On
The Challenge
1964 Omega Constellation
A Constellation on a cal. 564 arrived with significant positional variance — over +40 seconds per day crown up, substantially less in other positions. The owner wanted the original dial character preserved; previous work had introduced a smear to the lacquer at six o'clock.
The Work
Full movement service with special attention to the balance assembly. The dial was handled only to remove dust under magnification — no refinishing. Case brushed carefully to match original surface. Gaskets replaced. The smear at six was beyond what could be addressed without risking the lacquer further, and the owner was told this clearly before work proceeded.
The Outcome
Positional variance reduced to within +6/−4 seconds across six positions. Returned in six weeks. The owner noted the dial was in better condition than expected — no additional marks introduced. The smear remains, as disclosed.

The Challenge
Heuer Carrera, Valjoux 72
A Carrera reference 1153 arrived by post from Singapore. The chronograph mechanism was not resetting cleanly — the minute counter hand would not fully return to zero and the column wheel felt stiff to the push-piece.
The Work
Complete chronograph overhaul. Full disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning of all components. Inspection identified a worn return-to-zero hammer spring and a column wheel with minor wear on two positions. Both were replaced with correct-specification components. Lubrication to manufacturer specification, multi-position timing.
The Outcome
Chronograph function fully restored. Minute counter returning to zero cleanly. Timing results: +3 to +8 seconds per day across six positions — within Valjoux spec for this caliber. A written condition report was included with the returned watch. Timeline: nine weeks.

The Challenge
Seiko 5 Quartz, Chiang Mai owner
A locally-owned Seiko quartz with an unusual cell size — SR927W — that several shops in the city did not have in stock. The watch had stopped and a previous battery change had left the crown gasket in poor condition.
The Work
Battery replacement using SR927W from our stock. Crown gasket replaced. Case cleaned and dried. Basic movement check — accuracy confirmed within normal quartz tolerance. Crown screwed down correctly. Piece tested for 24 hours before return.
The Outcome
Watch returned within three days. Running accurately and water-resistance restored. Owner noted this was the first time the gasket had been replaced in six years of battery changes elsewhere. Simple work, done properly.
